About the Project
DHL required deep backend infrastructure work — the internal systems that power their global logistics operation. We built and optimised the systems handling shipment routing, warehouse management, fleet coordination and real-time tracking across their worldwide network. Enterprise systems engineering at its most complex.

The Deets
DHL's network is one of the most complex in the world — 220+ countries, millions of daily shipments, thousands of warehouses. The internal systems coordinating this had to be rebuilt for the next decade of growth.
We worked on the core backend: shipment routing algorithms optimising delivery paths across continents, warehouse management coordinating inventory across facilities, fleet management tracking thousands of vehicles in real time, and the data pipelines that make it all visible to operations teams.
The routing engine alone processes millions of decisions per hour — factoring in customs regulations, weather, vehicle capacity, fuel costs and delivery commitments. Every package finds an optimal path through hubs, sorting centres and last-mile routes.
The warehouse management system coordinates inventory across thousands of facilities. Real-time stock visibility, automated reorder triggers and predictive analytics keep packages moving without bottlenecks.
