The common problems in Turkish oil shipments are underfilled bottles, wrong label variants for the destination, short carton counts and oil that clouds in cold weather. None of these show up on the commercial invoice.

Our inspector weighs 20 bottles per container and records the average and minimum net weight. Labels are compared with your approved artwork: language, net volume, batch, production and expiry dates, importer details. Every carton is counted as it goes in.

If you order the lab option, a sample is drawn and sealed in front of the factory and sent to an independent lab for cold test, free fatty acid and peroxide value. Lab results are attached to the same certificate.

What the inspector checks

  • Net fill weight (gravimetric)
  • Cap and induction seal
  • Label language and dates
  • Carton and pallet count
  • Cold test, FFA, peroxide value (lab)
